The Flying Machine follows the Wright Brothers as they battle fate, physics, and foul weather to become the first to achieve motorized human flight. Since childhood, Orville and Wilbur Wright have been fascinated with the idea of human flight. The varied, ill-fated attempts of certain brave souls throughout history, as well as more contemporary, and promising, progress, inspires these two bicycle mechanics from Dayton, OH, to take up the challenge of flight for...

Led by Viewpoint Photographic Art Center – a non-profit organization located in Midtown Sacramento – and in collaboration with many involved partners including the City of Sacramento, the next Photography Month Sacramento is scheduled for April 2023.
A variety of diverse and eclectic events are planned that include special exhibits, receptions, Open Call competitions, meet-ups, workshops, lectures, photo shoot gatherings, and more. Photography Month Sacramento creates a shared platform for galleries, museums, educational institutions, libraries, retail establishments, photographers, and patrons to celebrate and elevate the art of photography. Interested participants are encouraged to create or highlight their own exhibits, displays, lectures, receptions, workshops, demonstrations, temporary public art displays, art walks, photo shoot meet-ups, and other special events to help showcase the art of...
