A World Premiere Comedy
Reckoning with advancing age and all its complications, Jack and his wife Jean Ellen consider moving back to Massachusetts to be closer to family. This means selling their Land Park home of 40 years, the one in which their two sons were raised. But cleaning closets and packing boxes means discovering long forgotten memories and treasures and all the emotions associated with them. In this poignant and laugh-out-loud one-man show about the mysteries of aging, Jack realizes that saying goodbye might be harder than he expects.

Named for an ancient Celtic harvest festival in honor of the Irish god Lugh, patron of the arts, Lúnasa is indeed a gathering of some of the top musical talents in Ireland. Its members have helped form the backbone of some of the greatest Irish groups of the decade.
Bassist Trevor Hutchinson was a key member of The Waterboys, and later he, with guitarist Donogh Hennessy, would form the dynamic rhythm section of The Sharon Shannon Band; Ed Boyd (Flook, Michael McGoldrick Band) has recently replaced Hennessy; Fiddler Sean Smyth is an All-Ireland champion who has played with Donal Lunny’s Coolfin; Kevin Crawford, considered to be among the finest flutists in Ireland played with the acclaimed traditional group Moving Cloud; and, piper Cillian Vallely of the famous Vallely artistic clan has performed with Riverdance and recently recorded with Bruce Springsteen. Folk Roots magazine has rightly termed them an “Irish music dream team.”

The Music and Lives of Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen
“Two singer-songwriters sit on the edge of a cliff…”
With these words, we are drawn into the world of Both Sides Now, a theatrical concert that explores the music and lives of long-time friends and one-time lovers, Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen.
Created by, and starring Robbie Schaefer and Danielle Wertz, the cabaret-style performance traverses decades alongside songs such as A Case of You, Hallelujah, Big Yellow Taxi, Suzanne, and many more.
Both Sides Now is at once a piece of the 60’s and 70’s, and of right now -- offering us a story about the messiness of being human, of lives persistently lived at the edge of growth, and of finding the courage to turn toward one another, again and again.

[more+]FRANKLINLAND by Lloyd Suh
William Franklin has always struggled to be his own man. It’s difficult to find your own way when your father is Benjamin Franklin: the greatest scientific mind in the world, inventor of the lightning rod and the urinary catheter and the glass harmonica and bifocal glasses and, in his spare time, the United States of America. This hilarious new comedy explores this father-son dynamic through the decades, from that pivotal experiment with a singular kite, to the birth of a country.
