Welcome to Centro Cocina Mexicana, a stop along the Paragary Pathway Trail celebrating the restaurants, people, and places that helped shape Midtown Sacramento. For more than 25 years, Centro has brought regional Mexican cuisine, vibrant hospitality, and a festive gathering place to the corner of 28th and J Streets. The restaurant is also an important part of Randy Paragary’s story, marking one end of the 28th Street path he walked for decades as he helped shape the neighborhood around him. For more than five decades, Randy Paragary helped shape Midtown Sacramento into the vibrant urban destination it is today through restaurants, hospitality concepts and continued investment in the district. Paragary Pathway honors his legacy with a connected trail of lighting throughout the Midtown Sutter district.
