With activities ranging from holiday markets and seasonal cocktails to live theater and community fundraisers, this celebration supports local businesses while spreading holiday joy.
What is 12 Days of Midtown?
First launched in 2011, the 12 Days of Midtown is a 12-day celebration showcasing holiday-themed events across Sacramento’s vibrant Midtown district. Each day features something new, making it the ideal opportunity to explore Midtown’s unique charm and support local businesses.
12 Days of Midtown: Event Calendar
December 1 – Museum Store Sunday
Celebrate local history and culture with a shopping event at Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park and the State Indian Museum. Find one-of-a-kind gifts while supporting vital community programs.
December 2 – Jet’s Grinchmas
Step into a Grinch-themed holiday adventure at Jet’s, complete with festive cocktails and Who-ville-inspired decorations.
December 3 – Giving Tuesday Ugly Holiday Sweater Party at Alaro Craft Brewing
Head to Alaro Craft Brewery for a fun-filled evening from 5 to 8 p.m. Enjoy festive vibes while supporting Midtown Parks, with 20% of sales going to the cause. Don’t forget to wear your ugliest sweater for a chance to win a prize!
December 4 – Frost Fest at Fremont Park
Enjoy a family-friendly winter celebration at Fremont Park from 4 to 8 p.m., featuring live music, holiday decor, and 75 local vendors.
December 5 – OBO Midtown Parks Fundraiser
Support Midtown Parks by ordering holiday meals or meal kits online for pick-up or delivery from OBO’ Italian Table & Bar. Use promo code DINEDONATE at checkout to have 15% of your order benefit the cause.
December 6 – Sippin’ Santa at Jungle Bird

December 11 – A Christmas Carol at B Street Theatre

December 12 – Hot Toddy Competition at Golden Bear
Wrap up the festivities at Golden Bear’s Hot Toddy Competition, featuring live music and seasonal cocktails. A $5 cover benefits Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services.
