Dine Downtown is Back in Sacramento this January

Don’t miss out on Sacramento’s annual exclusive culinary experience: Dine Downtown! Kick off the new year by exploring new culinary delights, enjoying dinner at your cherished favorites, or crossing off that elusive restaurant from your must-visit list.

During Dine Downtown, savor a specially crafted 3-course meal for a set price of $45 per person, all while showing your support for local Sacramento restaurants.

Taking place from January 10 – 19, 2025 in the Central City, this year’s event boasts a robust lineup of participating eateries right in the heart of Midtown. Delve into the details to discover which Midtown establishments are joining the festivities and get a glimpse of their enticing menus.

 

Octopus Baja

Choose between shigoku oyster shooters or baja camarones crostini, then have sopa de elote or clam chowder. For the third course, you can either choose citrus miso glazed salmon, roasted seasonal mushroom, or gulf shrimp tacos or you can share birria short ribs or roasted split red snapper with another person. Finally, end with brown butter cake or dulce de leche.

The Historic Star Lounge

Start with mussel frites, then have braised short ribs, and end with creme brulee.

Flamingo House

Start with chef oyster or mushroom miso soup, then have a shrimp cocktail or trout tartare, choose adobo pork belly, uni pasta, or kabocha squash gateau for your entree, and end with a mini Ketel One espresso martini or a mini mandarin and cream martini.

Aïoli Bodega Española

Start with gravlax or aïoli’s tian, then have remolacha de betabel, then choose between jarret de cordero ‘cazador’, salmon con accento catalan, or casarecce a la siciliana, then end with mini flan or tiramisù.

Hawks Public House & Provisions

Start with salt roasted beets and wild arugula, then have tomato braised swordfish, and finish the meal with vanilla gelato coppetta.

Magpie Cafe

Start with artisan romaine with a choice of potato chips and onion dip or bread and hummus, then choose between roasted steelhead or house made pasta with beer batter fried rings or roasted vegetables, and end with chocolate avocado mousse or donut holes with ice cream.

The Porch Restaurant and Bar

Start with a choice of fried risotto balls, brisket mac, or winter salad, then have either vegan cajun noodles or BBQ ranch ribs, and finish with triple chocolate cake or vegan beignets.

Maydoon

Choose between mediterranean caesar salad or ash reshteh, then between cornish kabob, baghali polo lamb, or gheymeh, and end with either baklava pop tart or saffron cardamom cake.

The Lock & Key Tapas + Bar

Choose between pumpkin leek soup or caesar salad, then between succulent lamb or garlic pesto gnocchi, then end with either apple empanada or chocolate empanada.

Tapa the World

Start with tuscan white bean and kale soup or blood orange and radicchio salad, then choose between fresh fettuccini tossed in garlic herb cream sauce or grilled pork tenderloin, and finish with tiramisu or pistachio gelato.

Revolution Winery & Kitchen

Choose between beet salad or Tuscan white bean & kale soup, then a sweet potato harissa bowl or short rib pasta, and end with espresso chocolate cheesecake, baked brie, or spice cake.

Frog & Slim

Choose between goat cheese croquettes or white anchovy caesar, then pan seared sirloin, linguine vongole, or wagyu lasagna, and finish with either baked zucchini bread or whipped parfait.
