This beloved annual tradition combines festive cheer, local shopping, and unique events to highlight the best of Midtown Sacramento. With activities ranging from holiday markets and seasonal cocktails to live theater and community fundraisers, this celebration supports local businesses while spreading holiday joy.
What is 12 Days of Midtown?
First launched in 2011, the 12 Days of Midtown is a 12-day celebration showcasing holiday-themed events across Sacramento’s vibrant Midtown district. Each day features something new, making it the ideal opportunity to explore Midtown’s unique charm and support local businesses.
12 Days of Midtown: Event Calendar
Monday December 1 – Holiday Poker Tournament at Limelight
Holiday lights meet Limelight’s cardroom with free play deals including a $10 Industry Bonus (with proof )and a $10 Holiday Sweater Bonus plus a poker tournament with a $120 No-Limit Hold’em buy-in and $1,000 guaranteed prize pool*. Sign-ups start at 5:30 PM and tournament starts at 7 p.m.

Tuesday December 2 –GivingTuesday Donation Raffle
Spread some holiday cheer on GivingTuesday by donating $10 or more to a Midtown-based non-profit organization such as Midtown Parks, the River City Food Bank, the Sacramento LGBT Center, and many others. Submit proof of your donation of $10 or more to a Midtown-based non-profit on December 2 here for a chance to win a special Midtown prize bundle.

Wednesday December 3 – Sippin’ Santa at Jungle Bird
Indulge in holiday-themed cocktails at Jungle Bird’s popular festive pop-up. Reservations may be necessary to secure a spot!
Thursday December 4 – Hot Toddy Competition at The Golden Bear
Celebrate the annual festivities at The Golden Bear’s Hot Toddy Competition, featuring a hot toddy showdown, live music, and seasonal cocktails.
Friday December 5 – Home for the Holidays at LowBrau
Enjoy a full-on display of holiday decor with associated specialty holiday cocktails at LowBrau.
Saturday December 6 –Free Gift Wrapping at the Midtown Farmers Market
Shop for handcrafted and artisan gifts at the Midtown Farmers Market, a favorite for unique and locally made holiday presents and get free gift wrapping at the Midtown Farmers Market tent when you buy two gifts or more.
Sunday December 7 – Shop Local at Midtown Bliss Home and Gifts along the Made in Midtown Trail
Stop by Midtown Bliss Home and Gifts to shop an array of vintage, handmade, and antique items and be sure to download the Made in Midtown Trail digital passport to collect a stamp when you spend $10 or more at six participating locations for a chance to win a Midtown gift card bundle valued at over $1,000!
Monday December 8 – 12 Days of Deals at 1-Up Retro Video Games
Visit 1-Up Retro Video Games, Midtown’s one-stop-shop for all things video games, both retro and new, and find exclusive deals throughout the first 12 days of Midtown.
Tuesday December 9 – Donate Clothes for a Chance to Win at Club Pilates
Drop off clothing donations in support of The Mustard Seed School at Club Pilates anytime from 8 a.m.–8 p.m. for a free 30-minute intro class and chance to win a $50 retail credit and 4 free classes.
Wednesday December 10 – Irving Berlin’s White Christmas by Broadway Sacramento at UC Davis Health Pavilion
