Tawny joined the Midtown Association team in June 2025 as our Events and Market Coordinator, where she supports the Midtown Farmers Market and assists in event operations.

Tawny graduated from Sacramento State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communications. Before joining our team, she worked as a Special Events Coordinator at a pet adoption center in Southern California, where she organized fundraising events to provide second chances for homeless pets. After six years in Southern California, Tawny returned to her hometown of Sacramento.

Her favorite project has been the Midtown Farmers Market, as it allows her to connect directly with her community. In her free time, Tawny enjoys walking around Midtown with her dog, relaxing at a local brewery, thrifting, and watching classic movies.
