Karina joined Midtown Association in 2021 as A Community Safety Lead where she helped with crisis intervention and provided service outreach to those in need. Before joining our organization, Karina worked to improve the standards of restaurants and aided their professional development through training initiatives. In 2023, Karina was promoted to Farmers Market & Events Coordinator, where she builds connections with local artists and musicians to bring various activities and support to the Midtown Farmers Market and Midtown events. Her favorite project has been the installation of the Light The Beam Mural in the Alhambra District. Outside of work you can find Karina embarking on road trips, kayaking with her canine companion, Oprah, and indulging in her love for horror movies.
