Collin Lourenco joined Midtown Association in 2026 as Associate Director of Events & Activations. In this role, he helps lead the organization’s annual calendar of events and programming, overseeing the strategic alignment of arts, culture, and placemaking initiatives that enhance Midtown’s vibrancy and sense of community. He is passionate about creating inclusive, engaging experiences that bring people together, celebrate local culture, and support the district’s businesses, artists, and residents.

Before joining Midtown Association, Collin served as Pride and Events Director for the Sacramento LGBT Community Center and Sacramento Pride. During his tenure, he led the growth and evolution of Sacramento Pride, advancing initiatives centered on Accessibility, Sustainability, and Visibility while strengthening community partnerships and expanding opportunities for participation.

A lifelong believer in the power of events to foster connection and belonging, Collin brings extensive experience in community engagement, event production, and cultural programming to his work in Midtown.

Outside of work, Collin is a proud dog dad and enthusiast of all things spooky. It’s no surprise that his favorite Midtown Association program is the beloved Pooch Parade and Halloween Festival. In his free time, Collin enjoys sewing, tackling home design projects with his partner, and immersing himself in Sacramento’s vintage and rockabilly communities through local events, meetups, and cabaret shows.
