Christy joined the Midtown Association in May of 2026 as the Associate Director of Placemaking. She manages various placemaking projects and activations throughout Midtown ranging from tree and street lighting projects to facilitating public art installations.

Christy graduated from Cal Poly SLO with a BS in Animal Science and dual minors in Art & Design and Anthropology & Geography. She has lived in many corners of the US throughout her career doing conservation and community-supportive work with non-profit organizations in Florida, Alabama, New Mexico, and most recently in Auburn, CA.

Her favorite Midtown Association project was to see how impactful and positive the Fremont Park Bloom project was for the community and is really excited about her role in supporting the Coordinates: Dispatch art installation project at Winn Park. In her free time, she enjoys making furniture in her woodshop, teaching herself construction projects at her house, gardening alongside her dog Olive and cat MowMow, painting birds, and joining her local trivia nights.
