Kelly joined the Midtown Association in 2025 as Senior Manager of Communications and was promoted to Director of Communications & Public Affairs in 2026, where she now leads the organization’s strategic communications and public affairs strategy, overseeing organizational communications, stakeholder and media relations, digital communications, and public affairs efforts that drive visitation, investment, and economic growth throughout Midtown. She partners with the Executive Director and senior leadership team to guide the Explore Midtown and Midtown Love brand strategies, bringing a high standard of integrity and responsiveness to every stakeholder relationship she builds. Kelly leads with a collaborative spirit, working across departments to align communications with organizational priorities, while championing the growth of her team and the resourcefulness needed to navigate an ever-evolving district.

Kelly graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Johnson & Wales University and holds a Master of Arts from Texas Tech University in Strategic Communication & Innovation. She brings 13 years of experience rooted in public relations and strategic communications with deep expertise in travel, tourism, and business development, helping elevate organizations’ profiles and drive purposeful engagement. Kelly’s favorite part of working at Midtown Association is supporting and uplifting the voices of Midtown, including small businesses, and amplifying the stories that make the district unique.

Outside of work, Kelly adores her two young children and her 60-pound, 10-year-old hound dog, and you will often find them together on outdoor adventures.
