Second Saturday is a monthly Sacramento tradition that highlights the bounty of arts and expression that exist throughout Sacramento. In the months of May – October, Midtown Association creates special programming and resources for our local galleries, venues, artists, and small businesses that are interested in taking advantage of Midtown Second Saturday and the influx of visitors that we see during this season. For 2026, there are a variety of opportunities and resources available through Midtown Association.
More information about Midtown Second Saturday can be found here.
The first signature event of the 2026 Midtown Second Saturday season is an Art Market at Fremont Park alongside live music, silent disco, and the debut of the Fremont Park Bloom. The event will take place on Saturday May 9 from 4-8 p.m. and both art vendors ($50 for a 10’x10′ booth) and food trucks ($100 for space) are encouraged to apply by Friday, April 3 on our Art Market Interest Form here.

Midtown Association is hosting monthly engagement meetings for Midtown businesses to learn more about how they can request programming or promotional support during the Midtown Second Saturday season. To learn more and RSVP for those meetings, visit the Engagement Meeting RSVP form here.
Events held in Midtown on Second Saturdays can be included on the Midtown Second Saturday calendar when they are submitted on Sacramento 365 and have the “2nd Saturday” category selected. When promoting the event on Instagram, you can tag @ExploreMidtown to be featured through an in-feed or story post.
Midtown Association has programming opportunities for artists and performers throughout the Midtown Second Saturday season. Artists that are interested in paid opportunities can submit an Artist Interest Form here.
