This annual event is a vibrant celebration of the arts and Sacramento’s creative community, all in support of Midtown Association and Midtown Second Saturday programming. Each year, Midtown Love showcases local talent through live performances, interactive art experiences, and opportunities to connect with fellow community members.

Guests enjoy an evening filled with art, culture, and culinary experiences curated by local chefs, beverage partners, and creators. From unique food and drink offerings to immersive installations and unforgettable performances, the event highlights the best of Midtown’s energy and creativity.

Thanks to your support through sponsorships, ticket purchases, and contributions to our “Adopt-a-Duck” raffle, in 2025 we raised $84,175 to help sustain and grow Midtown Second Saturday and support services for Midtown’s small businesses and public spaces.

Midtown Love 2026

In 2026, Midtown Love presented by SKK Developments will bloom—literally and figuratively. This year’s celebration coincides with the debut of Fremont Park Bloom, our signature placemaking project at Fremont Park inspired by the California poppy. Like the poppy, Fremont Bloom is designed to unfold in bright, joyful layers throughout the park, bringing art, color, and growth to the heart of Midtown.

On Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 6 – 9 p.m., join us for this exclusive VIP fundraiser supporting the Midtown Parks 501(c)(3), Midtown Association’s small business support services, and the creative spirit of Midtown Second Saturday programming. The event marks the next evolution of both our arts and parks programming, as Midtown Love continues to grow into a signature celebration that launches Midtown Second Saturday and our year-round commitment to elevating public arts and placemaking.

For one unforgettable night, Fremont Park will be closed to the public, giving sponsors and VIP guests the first look at Fremont Park Bloom before it opens community-wide. Guests will journey through a themed walking path filled with inspiration and Instagrammable moments while enjoying a relaxed, elegant atmosphere designed to spark connection and celebration.

Supporting Midtown Love

Ticket purchases, sponsorships, and raffle entries directly benefit Midtown Love’s fundraising efforts. Raffle entries are made through our popular “Adopt-a-Duck” program your “adoption” of a rubber duck at the event counts as a raffle entry.  A standard “Adopt-a-Duck” raffle ticket is $50 and enters you in for a chance to win gift cards to Midtown businesses, spa and wine packages, experiences, and more. A “Giant Duck ” raffle entry is $250 and enters you in for a chance to win the custom artwork by Gina Rossi, “Metal Blossom” that was featured in the 2025 Urban Dreams Art Experience (pictured below). The winner for the “Giant Duck” raffle will be drawn at 8 p.m. at the event and will have their name engraved into the artwork, with a free delivery of the piece.
