The impact of the Al Fresco Dining Program was incredibly significant to ensuring Midtown restaurants could remain open and operable during the pandemic in a way that was safe for customers and employees. Several partners contributed to this effort including the Office of Councilmember Hansen, Public Works, Economic Development and Capitol Barricades, and Public Works was recognized for their swift action in permitting on-street dining.
