California State Parks demonstrated incredible work and partnership in the development and implementation of the Sutter’s Fort Lighting project.  The lighting will increase both safety and visibility for the many residents who live, work and visit this area in Midtown. The project planning process included multiple iterations to ensure there would be minimal impact to the historic walls and visually not distracting to the visitors who visit Sutter’s Fort during the day, while still having a noticeable lighting impact during the evening and night hours.
