Associate Director of Placemaking and Mobility

Amy joined the Midtown Association team in 2019 as our Placemaking Manager before being promoted to our Associate Director of Placemaking and Mobility where she focuses on bringing vibrancy to Midtown’s public spaces through investments in ambient lighting, art, parks programming, capital improvements, and mobility.

Amy graduated from UC Davis with a BA in International Relations with an emphasis in Trade and Development. Amy has more than ten years of experience in the nonprofit sector in Sacramento, serving in various capacities, including program oversight, nonprofit capacity building, community engagement, philanthropy and government affairs/public policy.

Her favorite project at Midtown Association is the LED art installation at the 29th Street SacRT Light Rail Station, which features six programmable LED panels, fabricated by local lighting artist Chris Biddle. Outside of work you can find Amy walking her two dogs along local waterways, visiting the Midtown Farmers Market followed by brunching at Paragary’s, and working on DIY home projects.
